This is a rare beautiful large 20th century authentic signed Royal Delft hand painted vase made in Holland.
The stamp includes the pattern marking number 246 on the base of the vase. Royal Delft marked the pattern number on the base of the vase to ensure it's authenticity as other ceramic potters did not use this numerical system.
The patterns that run through the vase are vibrant, bright and beautiful, it is a beautiful rare pattern in the style and character of traditional Royal Delft ceramics.
The colors are handpainted and retain their vibrancy, and this can be seen on the photographs as with the hand painted strokes.
The stamp.
On the base of the vase there is an authenticity stamp referring to Royal Delft which has been producing hand painting ceramics since 1653. It is the only functioning factory since the 17th century.
