A luxurious Sadler, art deco, gold and cream, vintage teapot.
This art deco teapot is made with 22kt gold gilt panels, set upon cream earthenware.
Hand painting with 22kt gold, had been very popular in the pottery industry, during the 1930s & 1940s.
The teapot with its gold swirling art deco pattern, curvacious handle and strong spout holds a generous 1.75 pint capacity.
In good condition, however, due to its age, the gold gilt is faded in some areas. adding to its vintage charm. Hence the fabulous price.
A fabulous art deco teapot for those High Afternoon Tea parties or use to display in your home.
